Terms of Service

Last updated:

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and JustLinks. By creating an account, or by using any part of the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use JustLinks.

1. Who these terms are between

JustLinks is the service operated at justlinks.page and its subdomains ("JustLinks", "we", "us"). These Terms are between you and the operator of JustLinks. Questions about these Terms go to [email protected].

2. The service

JustLinks gives each account a public page on its own address, such as yourname.justlinks.page, where you publish a set of links. Depending on your plan it also provides a QR code export, click and view analytics, and the option to use your own custom domain. We may add, change or remove features over time, as described in section 9.

3. Accounts

Each page has one accountable owner: the account that created it. You must provide a working email address and confirm it before you can use the service. You are responsible for keeping your password and any connected sign-in method secure, and for everything done through your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use JustLinks.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of JustLinks, and everything you publish on your page, must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy at /abuse, which forms part of these Terms. Read it before you publish anything: it explains what you may not publish, how to report a page, and what happens after a report. We do not repeat that list here.

5. Your content and licence

You keep ownership of everything you put on your page — your text, images, links and branding. To run the service we need permission to host, store, copy, render, back up and serve that content, and to let visitors view it. You grant us that licence for as long as your content is on the service, and for a reasonable period afterwards so our backups stay consistent. You confirm that you own or otherwise have the right to use everything you upload, and that publishing it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

6. Reserved names

Some addresses are reserved and cannot be claimed, for the reasons set out under "Names we reserve" in the Acceptable Use Policy. A reserved name is not released.

7. Plans, billing and cancellation

JustLinks offers a free plan and paid plans (Pro and Business). What each plan includes, the price, and the billing interval are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice. Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card details.

Paid plans renew automatically for the period you chose until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. If you cancel, nothing is deleted: your page and its links stay, the features your paid plan added are switched off, the JustLinks branding returns, and any page or link beyond the free limits becomes read-only. You can still edit or delete that content, and it becomes editable again if you return inside the limits or upgrade.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove a page that breaks these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, following the process described there. We may suspend or close an account for serious or repeated breaches, or where the law requires it. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

When your account ends, your right to use the service ends. The clauses that by their nature should outlive it — our licence to keep your content in backups for a reasonable period, and the disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity and governing-law clauses — continue to apply.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep JustLinks available, but we do not promise any particular uptime, and we may change, suspend or withdraw features. We may need to perform maintenance. We are not liable for interruptions, but we will not withdraw a feature you have paid for without notice.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

JustLinks is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that any content on it is accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JustLinks will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the total amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold JustLinks harmless from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from the content you publish, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms — in particular any claim that your content infringes someone else's rights or breaks the Acceptable Use Policy.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which JustLinks is based, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and JustLinks agree to bring any dispute in the state or federal courts located in that state, and each of us consents to their jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. When we make a material change we will update the "Last updated" date on this page and, where required, notify you by email or in the service. Continuing to use JustLinks after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Contact

Questions about these Terms go to [email protected]. To report a page, use [email protected] or the process on the Acceptable Use Policy.
